Sometimes, I like to pull back on drawing complex things and draw closer to my comfort zone when faced with creative/art block. The only goal in mind was to not get too rusty with drawing while my muscles took their sweet time recovering from climbing/thrill rides galore.

The main inspiration for this drawing was a rocket-shaped gummy you can find in one of those Popin' Cookin' candy sets. I messed up my attempt at making a pink/purple rocket gummy so it turned out a lovely gray-brown. Oh well.

I see that school's back in session for many a young 'un and whoever else operates on a school-related schedule. The weather has been kinder. Not quite the end of summer but not exactly fall season yet.

Screw it, I wanna draw autumn-themed stuff again~

Taking a Pixel art course on Udemy, this is one of the exercises to practice shading and textures in pixel art. I might of over complicated the textures a bit.

Kind of working on hero shapes to possibly incorporate something into some character design in the future. Obviously the one is just a carriage lamp/clock. The other is more abstract shapes. They are based on pictures I took at a recent museum visit. Might try to work on this for a few days.
